By understanding what happened in the rebellion of Adam and Eve, Jesus Christ becomes more understandable. Jesus said, “I only do what I see my Father doing and I only say what I hear my Father saying.” Jesus, as a man, was of the same type as the created Adam, before Adam rebelled and died spiritually. The human spirit of Jesus was alive and was one with the Spirit of God. Jesus’ Body of Truth and the divine Body of Truth of His Father in heaven were indeed one and the same. The created man Adam and the man Jesus were men as God intended men to be: Men in communion with the Spirit of God, knowing His truth all the time. Man was created to live and rest in God, depending on Him for everything.
Before you accepted Christ as Lord you were spiritually dead to God and were stuck with your own flawed opinions about truth. When you received Christ you were supernaturally transformed from death to life. Your human spirit that was dead to God was “born again” and the indwelling life of Jesus Christ in you became your hope of glory. The possibility now existed for you to project the divine radiance of Christ by allowing Him to live His life in and through you. At the precise time you received Jesus Christ, you became a divine container for His life and when that change happened your ideas about the purpose of your life should have changed as well.
